Gateway Project

This project was made possible with the support of the Department of Canadian Heritage through Canadian Culture Online.

With our most grateful thanks, the Gateway web development project was made possible by the Department of Canadian Heritage. This Gateway project was a chance to find, save, record and edit our archives from 1995-2005. Not surprisingly, many of the master tapes were lost or damaged. More simply, the files were sketchy and fragmented and many tapes were eaten up by the invisible monster. If any information that you are aware of is wrong or missing, please feel free to inform us.

This project was exhaustive, harried, inspiring and humorous. Seeing the Festival's history unfold in a brief few months was revealing and humbling. On behalf of the Festival's team and from the bottom of my heart, I thank all of the incredible helpers, supporters, experts, professionals, artists, funders, collaborators, partners, public and you for just being there.
