Short biography:	Karen Cho is am emerging filmmaker who has carved out a name for herself directing both documentary and fiction films. Her latest documentary "In the Shadow of Gold Mountain," tells the story of the Chinese Head Tax and movement for redress. It was produced throught the NFB and broadcast on CBC's "Roughcuts". Karen is interested in using film as a tool for social debate. Her current projects will explore Diasporic communities in Canada and refugees.
