Call Me A Paki gives a glimpse of the filmmaker's personal growth brought about by his first experience with racism upon returning to Canada after
living in Pakistan for 17 years. The realization that he was not accepted in
this society quickly lead to the abandonment of the cultural and spiritual
values and practices that were once an integral part of his life. It took
the hauntingly insightful words of a virtual stranger on the streets of
Northern Pakistan to make Huda realize all he had given up. |

The Shiva project is a collaboration between composer Jan Pienkowski and
media designer Nokami. The visual and sound content originates from the
Indian graphic universe (politics, commercial endeavour, religion and

illustrating the contemporary faces of India. |

Screen test is a wry day-in-life of a Canadian actor and the convoluted process of "becoming Asian" during a casting session. The video exposes the exoticization of actors of colour from the performer's point of view. By exaggerating her own Asian-ness, she performs in "yellow face", subverting the process through exploiting and mocking the ignorance of those who get to define and direct the "other". |

Viseth is a documentary over one banal day in the life of a 17 years old Cambodian. Living through two worlds, he jungles between his home environment and that of his friends. From Asia to occident, the line is thin, it becomes rather a multiple reality which becomes his. However, this complexity remains quite ordinary for this immigrant's son who was born in Montreal. |
