Since 1995, collaborators have been instrumental for the Festival to co-present, develop expertise, exchange resources and develop our public. Our collaborators meet our needs to develop working tools and skills providing professional facilities, staff, resources and standards for the artists and the Festival. The collaborations are individually negotiated ranging from co-production or promotion to various unique shared functions.

Mandates and Structures
I. Théâtre La Chapelle
La Chapelle is a show center and a promotional organism for arts on stage (dance, play, etc). It's always booking original creations in which prevail research and experimental. La Chapelle gives particular support for artistic creations in many ways. Its collaboration is known with other associations for coproduction and promotion for as we call risky shows. By its multiform action, La Chapelle's opting for diffusion of national and international shows. La Chapelle offers multiple services such as ticketstand, technical support, negociations for publicity, advising and support in diffusion.
II. Oboro Gallery
Born in 1982, OBORO supports the development of contemporary art arising out of diverse cultural practices. Led by a group of energetic and creative artists open to all forms of artistic expression and research, we encourage innovation, experimentation, the exchange of ideas and discussion. Alert to the world and its diverse communities, OBORO supports creation in visual arts, media arts and new technologies. Our activities include exhibitions, residencies, conferences, publications, workshops, network projects as well as production through our new media lab. As a transcultural project, OBORO also seeks to contribute to a culture of peace.
III. Gesù-Centre de creativité
In 1975, the Ministry of cultural Affairs of Quebec declared Gesù as an historic cultural monument. After a temporary closure of activities, Gesù has been renovated and furnished with specialized technical needs. It has thus been since 1992, Gesù has become Les Salles du Gesù that has re-instated their artistic activities as presenters dedicated to visual arts with a mandate to enrich the cultural and artistic milieus in Montreal to facilitate new talent.
IV. National Film Board of Canada NFB
The National Film Board of Canada (NFB) is a federal cultural agency within the portfolio of the Canadian Heritage Department. Initially known as the National Film Commission, it was created by an act of Parliament in 1939. Its mandate, as set forth in the National Film Act, 1950, is "to produce and distribute and to promote the production and distribution of films designed to interpret Canada to Canadians and to other nations."
V. Tangente
Promotional and presenting organism for contemporary dance, Tangente just celebrated its 20th anniversary. Each year, Tangente presents around 50 creators, 150 dancers, receives nearly 9 000 spectators and manages a continual programming of 34 weeks. Tangente is a showstage with 91 seats, an international documentation and archival center on dancing and a dynamic team serving artist and its collectivity.
Tangente got a mandate to stir up interest of the public with new artistic trends in international young choreography and experimental and new masterpieces in dancing.
VI. Société for Arts and Technology [SAT]
Founded in 1996, the Society for Arts and Technology [SAT] is a transdisciplinary center dedicated to research, creation, production, presentation, education and conservation in the field of digital culture. It brings together creators who work with digital technologies, fostering collaboration among diverse artistic and scientific disciplines, establishing partnerships with industry and educational institutions and promoting its members at home and abroad. The SAT's activities facilitate access to human and technical resources and encourage reflection on issues related to the use of technology. With a unique mandate in Canada, the SAT connects its membership to an international network of centers and organizations with similar or complementary objectives.
VII. Society of the Chinese Garden of Montreal
The Chinese Garden is situated in the Montréal Botanical Garden supported by the City of Montreal. Threatened by the cutbacks, the Society of the Chinese Garden of Montreal was formed in 1991. This nonprofit organism, consisting of more than 400 members and volunteers, is responsible for raising funds to produce Chinese cultural, artistic and educational exhibitions and activities at the Chinese Garden.
The goals are:
- Promote Chinese culture;
- Strengthen the ties between China and Quebec
- Serve as an intermediary between the Montréal Botanical Garden and the Chinese cultural community in promoting various special events
- Raise funds to ensure the growth and development of the Chinese Garden
VIII. Maison de la Culture Plateau Mont-Royal
Maison de la Culture Plateau Mont-Royal is located on Mont-Royal Avenue, just a block east of the beautiful and always bustling St-Denis Street. The Maison de la Culture Plateau Mont-Royal seeks out local acts and guests from abroad to offer spectacular shows and engaging artist encounters. By opening its doors to cutting edge performance arts, electro-acoustic experimentation and other kinds of artistic experiments with new technologies, this community space remains vibrant and contemporary.
IX. Montréal, arts interculturels (MAI)
The MAI (Montréal, arts interculturels) is the home of artists and intercultural art. It is a melting-pot of genres and styles where the artistic realities of Montreal, Quebec, and Canada are reflected.
Mandate of le Regroupement pour le développement des pratiques artistiques interculturelles:
- To expand cultural horizons by promoting intercultural exchange and dialogue within the community.
- To promote and encourage intercultural artistic practice in the professional milieus of creation and presentation as well as its outreach.
- To create links between government and private sector organizations and institutions.
- To create exchanges with similar organizations internationally.
