Javad and Jashmid Davari

Javad Davari is an outstanding musician of Iranian descent who has focused his efforts as a player, instrument maker and teacher of the Santur. The Santur is an ancient Persian instrument from the zither family, which is played with tiny hammers. Jamshid Davari is a renowned and reputable tombak player in Iran. Jamshid is here to record and perform in Montreal. Graced with this rare chance, these two brothers will perform as a duo away into the depths of an old and forgotten history.
