Consultant is a short fiction that explores Milicent, a young, ego-centric, professional woman and from where circumstance forces her to question her behaviour.
A slick, urban, uber-efficient, self-absorbed professional, Milicent Smart takes no prisoners in her daily stampede in the IT world. Except, as it turns out, herself, in a confluence of personal and professional circumstances that conspire against her. Backed into a corner, and forced to take a hard look at her ways, she catches a redeeming glimmer of hope in her gloomy reflection. Consultants takes us on a journey with Milicent as she surfs the curve of her life, and eventually hones her repentant self into the key to getting her life back.
Movement, sound, music and words capture my thoughts, but the magic of filmmaking can recreate them. As my visions come alive, I will tell you a story that stimulates your emotions. A good film has multi-dimensional layers; even if viewed many times over, a different interpretation may be revealed, perhaps deeper meaning every time.
I aspire to tell personal stories that combine reality and fantasy. Let me entertain you and transport you to places; and along the way, I wish for you to connect and feel the experience.
