A lovely presentation of delicious food was preciously made and designed by our new festival coordinator, Olga. Winners were announced at 11:35 a.m. in front of witnesses and an anxiously awaiting public in an intimate setting. When the first winner was finally announced, a sad and disappointed drone occurred from those hoping to hear their own name.

The lucky winners are:

The first prize raffle winner, Julian D'Alesio, thought it was a joke and was shaking when Khosro called him with the news as the first prize winner in front of all of those who attended the draw. Soon after receiving the news, Julio came running to pick up his tickets which he plans to give to his parents as a Xmas present! His story behind the winning ticket is coming soon!

This raffle is primarily a fundraiser for the activities of the May 2007 Festival Accès Asie.

Donations:

The Festival apologies for any inconviences regarding the following revisions to the raffle and a charitable receipt. For those who are interested in a charitable tax receipt, the minimal cheque amount is $100. Other arrangements are available for larger donations.

For $100, you will receive one of the following options.

Option 1:

Three raffle tickets plus a tax receipt at $75

OR

Option 2:

Seven raffle tickets plus a tax receipt at $50

OR

Option 3:

Fourteen raffle tickets and no tax receipt.

Prizes are non-exchangeable and cannot be redeemed for cash. The plane tickets are valid from December 2006 to December 2007.

*Certain conditions apply:

Plane tickets:

1. IMPORTANT: Taxes for the plane tickets are going to be charged to the winners.
2. The winners of the plane tickets must be 18 years old.
3. No ticket exchange or transfer will be possible after the ticket reservation.
4. Plane tickets are available from December 1st 2006 to December 1st 2007. Also, the trip must be completed in that period of time.
5. Bmi and Accès Asie can only be held responsible for providing 2 return plane tickets Montreal-Mumbai in economy class . All other responsibilities including but not limited to : the reservation of plane tickets in the valid period, preparation and payment of legal papers (visa, insurances, passport...) trip expenses (hotel reservation, meals, activities...) any other expenses engaged for the trip, any incident or damage happened before, during or after the trip, et cetera, are the responsibility of the winning ticket holder.

The Raffle

The raffle drawing will be held on Wednesday, November 22, 2006 at 11 a.m. at the Accès Asie office, located at 1200 de Bleury, door 007. We will contact the winners the same day by phone. You must claim your prizes no later than Friday, December 22nd at 5 p.m.
